Our first audio production is "Black Dialogue". This production is dedicated to Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, and every Black or Brown human killed unjustly by police brutality. We hope this production brings both mourning for those lost and inspiration to fight injustice.

This is part 1 of the "break down" of “Black Dialogue”.

Black Dialogue's first scene and poem is about Ahmaud Arbery. While the story was shocking to many, Black men are far too familiar with the fears of simply being in majority white spaces. For centuries, we have been falsely accused of being threatening and punished for that assumption.

“Racism isn’t getting worse, it’s getting filmed.” - Will Smith.

We are thankful to see all of the Black and Brown people who were able to record racist acts to provide accountability, education and sometimes justice. At the same time, it’s sad that we have to depend on a phone to do so much for us. To our brothas and sistas, we hope, pray, and fight for your safety.

This is part 2 of the "break down" of “Black Dialogue”.

Black Dialogue's second scene and poem is about Amy Cooper and Christian Cooper. Because of a cell phone, Christian's story didn't end like many Black and Brown men in America. This program mixes humor with gravity, showing that sometimes, existing in a world of racism requires a little bit of laughter--and making sure you've got a cell phone camera with you wherever you go.
